ToolMatch recommends products and tools through its website and supported MCP integrations, including Claude and ChatGPT. This policy explains the data used to operate those services.
The Claude connector exposes ask_toolmatch, which accepts a plain-language query and optional result-count and output-language parameters. Other integrations retain their own search tools. We receive the arguments supplied to the invoked tool, not unrestricted access to your Claude memory, chat history, files, contacts, or account. Technical metadata can include a generated MCP session identifier, client information, request source, timestamps, language, and workflow identifiers.
No ToolMatch account, login, or API key is required for the public connector. Queries can contain personal information if you include it. Do not send credentials, names, addresses, confidential information, or other sensitive data.
The Claude connector sends your query to ToolMatch's current Dify workflow to interpret the task, search its catalog, and generate matching products, explanations, limitations, or a clarification question. This connector does not switch to a different search workflow when Dify fails. The workflow uses configured AI providers and may route requests through 9Router (Botstack). Queries and relevant follow-up context are processed by Dify and those configured processors as needed to answer your request. Generated session and Dify conversation identifiers associate follow-up requests within a session.
ToolMatch does not use query content for advertising or build a user advertising profile.
ToolMatch retains operational audits for troubleshooting, recommendation quality, and reliability. These can contain query text, request metadata, session or workflow identifiers, extracted requirements, diagnostics, timing, match status, and public result summaries. Private operational Telegram notifications can include query text, diagnostic information, and result summaries. The audit store currently has no fixed automatic expiration; records remain until deleted by the operator. Telegram, Dify, hosting services, and configured AI processors can retain data according to their own service settings and policies. ToolMatch does not promise a fixed deletion period for those systems.
Operational logs may include errors and request metadata. Session state is used to associate follow-up requests; it is separate from any personal user account.
Query content and necessary request information are shared with Dify, configured AI providers or API-routing processors such as 9Router (Botstack), hosting providers, and Telegram for the operational purposes described above. Access is also possible where required by law. We do not sell or rent query data or share it for advertising.
Marketing pages use analytics. The Lovable review page may use the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel for page views and affiliate-link clicks and may set an attribution cookie such as oppref. Result links may pass through a ToolMatch tracking redirect to measure visits or attribution before opening a product page. Some links may be affiliate links. These signals are not used by ToolMatch to build a user advertising profile.
Links can lead to ToolMatch pages, supported app listings, or third-party product sites. Those providers control their own privacy practices, pricing, sign-up, and checkout. ToolMatch does not receive payment details or complete purchases for you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
ToolMatch is intended for general professional and productivity use and is not directed at children under 13.
There is no ToolMatch account profile, but a query may contain personal data and may appear in the operational records described above. Contact contact@chat-prompt.com to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Provide the approximate request time and enough non-sensitive information to identify the record. We may need to verify the request; third-party retention and legal obligations can affect what we can delete.
